Description: One of Anglesey's premier beaches, Trearddur Bay attracts the more discerning beach lover. Clean, safe water with lots to do in the way of water sports including sailing, windsurfing, water skiing, canoeing, kitesurfing and scuba diving., including canoeing, surfboarding, and water skiing. There is ample accommodation available in the area, ranging from hotels to bed and breakfast accommodation. There are two general shops in the centre of the village, along with a garage, two golf courses (one 18-hole, and one small 9-hole), and many hotels including a large hotel, Trearddur Bay Hotel, which overlooks the beach. In late February of 2011, Prince William of Wales and his future wife, Kate Middleton, participated in their first official function which was the dedication of a new Trearddur Bay lifeboat.
